Billed once a year, per state — from $750 for one state, with lower per-state prices as you add states, up to national coverage. The price includes all of the benchmarks, the comparison against Medicare and Medicaid rates, the Opportunity Calculator, and the payer letter tool. A second service line (mental health or SUD) is +20%. Cancel at any time.

Where does the data come from?
Rates come from the Transparency in Coverage files that insurers must publish. We read those files and organize them, so that you can compare rates by state, by market, by service, and by insurance carrier.
How do I know it's accurate?
Third Horizon's behavioral health team reviews what comes out of the insurers' published files, both for accuracy and for use in contracting. Where the rates do not agree with what the market does, or where there are too few of them for a reliable comparison, we show no rate instead of an unreliable number.
Which states are available?
Illinois is available now. The national data set will be released in Fall 2026. Until then, more states become available as each carrier's data is reviewed, and preview states cost less while the carrier data fills in.
Can I cancel?
Yes, anytime, from your account. Annual subscriptions run to the end of the paid period.
Is this contracting advice?
No. Starset Rate Compass provides rate benchmarks and market context, not legal, financial, or contracting advice. The platform data can help providers prepare for payer conversations, but each organization should make contracting decisions based on its own strategy, contracts, counsel, and financial position.
